Under 11 League Winners with the Senior Team

 

Congratulations Lads

Castlemitchell 1-20, Rathcoffey 0-03. The lads stormed to victory is the O'Neill’s Tournament final. Great performances throughout the field with 9 players on the scoresheet. Well done lads!!! Next up is Grange in the championship next Sunday at 2pm in Athy.

 

Ladies Intermediate Championship Football Final

The Castlemitchell Ladies play Maynooth on Sunday 5th September at 6pm in Naas in the Intermediate Final. All in the club wish the Ladies the very best of luck. Please come and support them in the final.

 

Junior B Football Championship

Reserve D Football Championship 1/4 Final Castlemitchell 2-10, Sallins 1-12. A one point win over Sallins. 2 Goals from James Fennell, points from Craig Dunphy, Mick Lawless, Anto Hyland and Sean Byrne helped them on their way, with excellent defending from David Hyland, JP Horgan and Paddy Fennelly and a string of saves from goalkeeper Ger Maher sent them on their way to the Semi Final which will take place in Athy this Tuesday 7th at 8pm against Ballykelly. Good luck to the team. 

Junior Football Championship

The Draw for Round 3 pairs Castlemitchell with neighbours Grange.  This will take place on the week ending 12th Sept.

 

Mossy O’Reilly Tournament

The First team take on Annanough in the final of the tournament. Time to be confirmed.

The second team take on Grange second team in the Shield Final. Time to be confirmed.

Juniors through to final

Castlemitchell 2 - 07, Ballykelly 2-06. 
Well done to the lads. 2 points from Craig Dunphy, a goal from diddler, a goal from Sean Byrne and 5 super points from Mick Lawless.  This was a complete team performance from 1 to 15 and subs. A great week for the green and white. Best of luck in the final against Clogherinkoe  or  Leixlip

Congratulations to this wonderful team who have made back to back victories to earn senior status next year. They now represent Kildare in the Leinster Championship on the 3rd October 2010. Best of luck girls.
