Message from our Chairman

In 1939 our club, Caisleán an Mhistéalaigh was founded and in the last 70 years it has gone from strength to strength. In 2001 we had great pleasure in opening our current facilities, which then catered for two adult men's teams. In the short time since, we have expanded to now also cater for two adult ladies teams and 15 juvenile teams including both boys and girls.     

We are now engaged in continuing to pursue the vision and commitment of our founding fathers and wish to provide a new training hall, additional dressing rooms, gym facilities, equipment store and dugouts.

We are respectfully asking you to support our endeavour to expand and enhance our facilities. This is necessary to cater for the increasing number of young girls and boys who are attracted to our club in pursuit of all the activities, cultural and sporting of Cumann Lúthchleas Gael. At present Castlemitchell GFC is experiencing a high level of achievement and success on the playing field and with your help and support we will continue along that road.
